Family Dinner

Farm Fresh, Good Wine, Old Things and a Beautiful Landscape

IMG_0183Big food gatherings aren’t just for holidays anymore, with the local and fresh food movement gaining popularity, community get- togethers are right in tow.  Summer and fall are prime seasons to get outside and indulge in the fresh harvest with good friends and good wine.  Here is some inspiration for your next get-together.  Pete, I and some friends were lucky enough to score seats at Loma Farms dinner table as they along with one of our favorite Traverse City restaurant, The Cook’s House, hosted a family dinner.  All the food was straight from Loma’s organic produce and masterfully put together by Cook’s House top chefs.  If you have a farmers market in your town, ask about CSAs and farm dinners…they are happening!
